foreign teams quit DP training canadian riders. if you want to DP train, do it to your own nation riders and leave ours alone. I really wonder why this f-ing bullshit rule still exists.

Yeah, that's true. Plus having to worry about DP any time you release a guy is kinda aggravating.
Essentially this is a tax on a rider that is paid out to the person who DP farmed them. It is a grossly unfair system.
True, it's not a rule. But why would should price and DP be related? Makes no sense to me. If price stopped being dependent on DP this would all instantly end. Some of these young riders have not been scouted by the teams that pick them up and DP train them. So if one is a good rider, I scout them and buy them, *I* pay a premium simply because they picked them up and DP farmed them. Essentially th
I wouldn't really call it a rule, but rather a mechanic. There's no way to stop it, aside from implementing some dramatic mechanic like "any rider who does not race within the first week after being signed is automatically dropped."' It can be annoying, but at least team spirit was added as a deterrent.
